If you have got two kindles registered to your account, then I think you can have it on both....I have kindle on my laptop, iphone and ipad and I can have my kindle purchases on all of them.

You can't give them to somebody else because you don't own them in the first place.
Yes, but it takes a small amount of faffing around by de-registering and re-registering accounts Google is your friend
