How do I connect my 5.1 surround sound to my 60inch aquos tv, do any of you guys out there know please?

Nope, sorry, I've checked my crystal ball and it must be faulty as it's not told me the model number of the TV or the make and model of the surround sound system.

possibly by using a coaxial digital cable, or an optical toslink cable, but with out any useful details to go on it's impossible to say if one, t'other or even any of them would be the correct answer.
There's usually a pair of outputs labelled left and right. If so, you need a pair of cables with "phono" plugs. Usually the colours of the sockets and plugs are red and white.

That's 2.0 speakers dealt with, how about the other 3.1?
