I have bought and installed a Bluetooth USB Adapter onto my PC with the aim of transferring info from my PC to my mobile (Samsung D500)

I have bluetooth 'enabled' on my mobile however when I click on it to search for a new device, it says "no bluetooth device found".

Do I need to do something to 'activate' bluetooth on my PC?

Simple answers please cause this is all new to me!!

Thanks

Think you need something called a dongle that you plug into the back of your PC.

I am pretty sure that the USB adapter is called a dongle
try it the other way...try searching for devices from your pc.  ensure bluetooth is turned on on the phone.

Oh yee-haa!!  I have transferred a song!!

The pictures won't work tho - any ideas?

You may have to re-size the pictures depending upon the memory of your phone.  I am not familiar with the Samsung D500 but if you can transfer songs then Bluetooth is working fine.
