And food processors. Modern houses have thin walls and being woken up to the sound of someone making a smoothie at 6am every day begins to get annoying quite quickly. Oh, and while we are at it add yappy little dogs in people's gardens too.

One neighbour is always "doing something" cant just sit lol hammering or sawing etc...

Yeah whatever the law is...i wouldnt make noise like tht before 10 on weekends. Probs not even 12! I feel minging now cos i kept getting woken up...gives me a headache and sluggish feeling xx

Well, I cut the grass this morning.

Think I'll tune up my 650cc Trials m/bike, got an annoying misfire at 12,000rpm this afternoon.

our council has a rule, no DIY after 6pm, only up to 12pm on saturday and Sunday is supposed to be noise free day. Doesn't always work out, but one can only try

Many yeasr ago my nuisance neighbour decided to use a sander in her bedroom (which is adjacent to mine as I live in a terrace house) at 6.30 on a Sunday morning. I got out of bed and started bangning on her door at 7. I asked her to stop and she wouldn't. Things went from bad to worse when she started playing her music loud in the middle of the night and Environmental Health had to get involved.

It was a nightmare Tinks. It went on for nearly 2 years and finally the Council took her to could and she was prosecuted. Sleep deprivation is not good.
