I have a LG Blu ray Player in the sitting room & a Panasonic Recorder/Player in the bedroom. In order to play my Blu Ray discs in the bedroom must I go to the expense of buying another Blu Ray player or is there software I can buy in order to copy my Blu Ray discs to DVD ?

It would be possible...

but the time it would take to do it for each blue ray would be huge, and you'd need a blu ray drive in your computer.

Probably best to either buy another blu ray player or just buy the films on DVD too.
