I have WORD err 2010?? ... well, it's part of Office 2010.

I've been sent a load of text, all in capitals (SHOUTY TYPE!)

Is there a way to select the lot (I can manage that bit) and change it all into lower or sentence case?

Don't know about 2010 but previous versions were just select the text, go to format, select change case and then sentence case.
No doubt at some time you have, like me, pressed the caps lock key instead of the shift key and all the text goes topsy turvy. There is a way to conquer this by using the f3 key plus a combination of other keys which allows you to toggle through the options. Unfortunately I have forgotten the combination.
Easy ! Go to the first letter and change in manually them highlight it . Then select paint brush symbol FORMAT PAINTER. Scroll over entire text hold down mouse and release. Thext will be the same as first letter.
