I may as well ask both in one go..
After I restart from sleep mode The keyboard is not recognised. The only way to fix this is to either unplug the keyboard (sometimes several times) or restart the PC. Is there a reason for this? It's Vista and a basic, standard keyboard.
The other thing is I occasionally transfer a DVD from disc to watch from the hard drive rather than let the DVD drive run for and hour and a half. The problem is deleting the folder afterwards. Vista will inform me that I need permission and will not allow this action, despite having full administration privileges. However, If I open the folder containing the VOB files I can delete them individually but I would prefer just to delete the whole lot in one go.
Any ideas what may be the problem?

Thanks.

With the keyboard, is it a device driver issue? if so where could I download a replacement and would it be easy to install?
More likely to be a USB driver problem than the keyboard driver (I'm assuming it's a USB keyboard, you haven't actually said)... Goto the computer (or motherboad) manufacturers website and find the chipset drivers and install them.

As for the folder delete, it's probably to do with where you are copying the folder to, try copying it to your user folder then you should be able to delete it OK.

Thank you ChuckFickens, it is an USB keyboard. I shall look up the correct drivers and re-route the destination path for said files and see what happens.
