Looking ahead to our holiday next year, does anyone know/use an app for an iPhone that can call a UK landline for free or very cheaply from the US and South America? Something like 'viber', but one that can call a landline.

You could look at Skype? Whenever I go on holiday, Sri Lanka, Egypt, I buy a local chip for a cheap Nokia that I have. Works out so much cheaper.

I didn't think Skype worked to a land line...am I wrong?

Skype works to landlines and mobiles but not for free !
