Since I re-programmed the tv after the demise of analogue, I have been unable to play the dvd. Despite going through all of the settings on the tv,etc, it will not find a channel to play as before. Any help would be gratefully accepted

Depends what TV you have but you may be able to find a 'source' button on your TV remote then select from the given list .....modes such as PC / EXT / ANT 1 / ANT 2 - one of these should let you view DVDs through your attached player.

You should be playing DVD through an auxilary input .. (in order of preference) ..

HDMI Digital
Composite DIN (3x)
Coaxial Cable
Scart RGB
Scart Composite
Composite (1x)
Do those words mean anything Albags. They sound very impressive lol
