Good morning one and all to a very dark North Wales (well it is before dawn). No rain as yet but apparently some on the way. Got a family wedding tomorrow and more rain forecast :-(

They are a funny breed up there to be sure. I was only there of r 4 day's the rest of the time was spent shackled to the garden.

Whereabouts in Norfolk were you? I used to be stationed down that area at Neatishead Radar Station back in 1977/8 - hated the place!!

We were just outside of Kings Lynn. 3hrs to get there , nearly 5 to get back, they have rerouted the Oxford bound traffic since I last went there 6 yrs ago but forgot to put in enough signpost to show the way, 2 traffic jams, and three near misses myself. There is nothing like getting away from it all.

I remember it took me 14 hours to get from Neatishead to Holyhead on the trains travelling on a friday. Used to get in at Holyhead at 5 in the morning then had to leave again on the 0110 train back so got very little time with the family - and it cost a bloody fortune for that short time

Good morning everyone, looks set to be a nice day in my neck of the woods, nice to have a respite from the humidity yesterday though and no doubt the garden enjoyed the drenching so not a lot to complain about though I haven't won the lottery so perhaps there is lol!! Have a good y'all.
