It's me again Ethel,I've tried your suggestion but when I click on the addresses I want there seems no way of getting them onto the forwarding e-mail.If it was onto an original e-mail there is no problem, just the forwarding ones.I hope that this clearer than mud. Thanks!!
I've just opened a message in my in box.

At the bottom of the message is to options - reply and forward.

Clicking the forward button opens an address box,. with the add CC as before.

Or have I got the question wrong?

Ethel I have followed exactly the same route as you BUT.When I go to "contacts" and tick the addresses I want to send to I can't get them onto the forwarding e-mail.The only way I can use the contacts is by opening a compltely new e-mail.which defeats the whole object.Bear with me please otherwise it's back to the dreaded Incredimail....Thanks!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Not incredimail!!! Anything but that

Hang on -investigating
At this time, you can't select from your Contacts while forwarding a message

It's easy.

Do as Ethel says -- click forward as you have done.

Then type in the box the names of the people in your contact list.

As you start typing their name, it'll appear in a list below where you're typing. Press up or down to select the address you want, then enter. It'll add their address.

Repeat this previous step again to add another name to send to.

All this is in the normal sending box.

Click "add CC" if you prefer that method.

That's it.

Thanks fo3nix it worked a treat. It's as you said "it's easy".
Thanks, Nix

That's how I do it, and I can't understand why it isn't working for cod.
I think cod was going into the contacts page, ticking the boxes for who you want to compose mail to, and doing it that way. I think you're right (with your link to gmail's help), that this can't be used for CCing/forwarding.
