Is the Panasonic DVD-S35EBS the same as the DVD-S35? Is one an abbreviation of the other, or are they two different models?

I think they are the same. I recently got one (not used it yet)and I had the same problem, but on the box there was a sort of Factory sticker with the full S35EBS but all the rest of the box had S35
