I'm stuck with a TV connection problem for a neighbour. Here's what they have:

They want to be able to watch the satellite channels when taping from terrestrial, and vice versa. This has puzzled me all afternoon. Can anyone help? Many thanks.

Can you clarify please - is the Pace box from cable tv (Virgin) or freeview?

If it's freeview, how many aerials do they have?

If it's cable, do they also have a terrestrial aerial?

Hi. The Pace box is from cable TV (Virgin) and they have a terrestrial aerial on the roof.

Mine is the same

Aerial to pace

Co-axial from pace to recorder to tv.

Scart from Pace to recorder. If there are two scarts - another from Pace tv to tv.

To record tv - as usual. To record from pace - set to record AV2 and make sure Pace box is on the right channel.
