I have a connection problem with broadband, it connects 1 out of 10 times. Checked with BT said no problem with connection but still doesnt work properly. There is a problem with connection with the router and the PC. Could it be a virus? We have been hacked recently. Anyone has this problem?

if you're using an extension lead, or are using a phone point in, for example, your bedroom, try pluging directly into the main telephone point, usually the one in your livingroom, and see if this makes a difference. If it does solve the problem, get back onto BT, my father had similar problems and they were extremely helpful.
If you're using your router via the USB cable, it might be an idea to use the ethernet port on the back instead, assuming you have a matching port on your PC. You might need to run the BT setup program again, but when you finally get it working, it'll use the router just as an access point rather than the reasonably fussy device it is when working under USB.
