Yes, of course its possible. There have been big news stories where people have successfully hacked into banks , government and military networks.


How they do it, I have no idea.

Many users religiously encrypt the wireless signal but don't bother altering the login details set by the manufacturer.
As these are all very similar, it is possible to try the few permutations and successfully log on to the settings page and hijack the router.
