The very easiest way is to buy a cheap dvd recorder (for the tv) and connect it to your video recorder and television.

Or you can get - KWorld DVD Maker- off Amazon. I have just copied all my camcorder tapes to DVD with it. You can also add music and do cool effects. Pretty easy to use.
