How much would it cost to 104 miles in a Mercedes SL 500 (1995) along mostly motorway?

Depends what speed you were doing. If you stayed at 70 i would guess around �25.

Yeah based on an average 20 MPG (if you've got a fairly light right foot) it works out to just a tad over �20.

If you only get 20mpg using a light foot along mostly motorway get yourself a different car!
Most modern cars should do 10mpl [45mpg] under those conditions so the fuel cost would only be about �10.

yea.......but most cars dont have a V8 5 - litre engine and do 185 miles per hour.
buy the SL600,, V12 6-litre bi-turbo, better fuel economy and much more refined
