We’re off to the seaside to eat, drink and be merry, do some walking hip permitting, some birdwatching, and generally enjoy this lovely weather while it lasts.
I’ll be thinking of Rowan and Redman too, as I’ll be visiting somewhere they both love, and am going to place a small stone in a suitable spot in Redmans a memory.
Anyone got anything nice planned?

What a lovely idea eth x
More diy here, hopefully done and dusted either this weekend or next ( decorating wise anyway)

Oh heck Eleena, been doing lots of diy have you? It’s a shame to be stuck indoors when it’s so nice outside but sometimes needs must.
We noticed the stone placing in Belgium when we visited the war graves and thought it was an appropriate act of remembrance, we’ve done it a few times over the years.
No plans.

It's been a lovely day today. My niece, nephew and cousin came for lunch and we laughed for the whole hour.
I'm happy to have being a dogsbody this week helping out family... this weekend whilst eldest bro is away on a short break to Blackpool with nieces... I', in charge of Dog, two cats and eight... seven week old kittens. So cute.. I'm really not that soft... honest... but so cute.
Flying around seeing as many of my friends and family as I can before I decamp to the States more permanently, sorting things out for that, trying to not rip my new insulin pump out that's been forced on me (I HATE it), cooking a big Sunday lunch on Sunday for family, and enjoying the cool weather.
Work......

Hopefully try and sneak a 2 hour ride on the bike Sunday afternoon, weather permitting.

Eating, drinking and being merry sounds about right to me, it's been a busy week, a relaxed weekend will be good.
And the new motor is being delivered on Monday, can't wait ;o)
Getting the house and shopping sorted for visitors next week.

Lunches like that make the world go round don’t they Ummmm? How lovely.
That’s a lot of animals Arky, are you up to the job? I imagine the kittens are weaned..maybe? I know nothing about cats.
Why have you been forced to have an insulin pump kval? Is your diabetes a bit unpredictable?

What do you do chilli?
Men and new motors Baldric, you’re all the same ;)
I love having visitors Tilly, not so keen on all the pre visitor sorting out though, although it does make me do some thorough cleaning instead of just a quick ‘that’ll do, it’s only us’
At the moment I have to keep my sugar levels very low so they've made me have a pump. I tried one once before when I was 15 or 16 and hated it then so normally I do straightforward injections, but having this thing attached to me all the time is making me absolutely psychotic tbh. Still it does appear to be working and the highs are much less so, so needs must at the moment. I've only had it for a week but it's seriously ticking me off, however hopefully I'll get used to it. x
Yes they are being weaned... Mum cat still about.. I are aware of the need... to be done... but also know its for the best all round. Wow kittens really can kick up a stink can't they. who'd have thought it. lol
It was lovely Eth. Cousin works down the road (she's the same age as my daughter) and wanted to borrow £2 because she'd left her purse at home. And the niece and nephew turned up out the blue (they get their mail sent here)

They are so funny as a group.
Where are you headed? I haven't done any proper birding for ages. I really must get to the sea soon.

Can’t imagine what it’s like kval, wish I could offer some words of encouragement :/

I’ll give you a clue Rowan...it’s a welsh island ;)
Have a lovely time. I am very jealous. At some point I am going back for a holiday.
Thanks Eth, it'll all be worth it in the end I'm sure :) x
That does sound, lovery. never having being to Ireland.

I'm sure that red would love a liverpool win, but be more happier for the lady he left behind to have a win.
Kval, I know you won't be disappearing but do let us know when you are going, so that we can all wish you well.
