The fact that there's page after page of similar items suggest this isn't a one off.

Is it me or is it the height of ungratefulness? Imagine the hurt if the person who gave those presents saw the ads!

ok seriously to sell an unwanted gift isn't in the best possible taste selling one you haven't unwrapped is quite funny if it is real as it could be anything... imagine the buyers face when they open it up and it turns out to be a dead hamster sent by a disgruntled ex or worse.... high risk purchasing strategy

Who would but them? It could be a load of cr@p wrapped up!!
*buy
there's nowt so strange as folk.
Very ungrateful.

I know few people who wouldn't at least unwrap a present and look at it, so I have my doubts that they are unwanted Christmas presents. Probably junk wrapped up to sell for far more than it's worth.

True, guess that's the risk you take.

What I find awful is that the gifts are unopened (allegedly anyway), so the seller is dismissing a gift someone has put thought, time and not least of all money into something that they're too mean to even open.
It's awful, I hate that sort of attitude.
Naomi could be right.
one way of selling dirty knickers........

I agree with naomi on this - it shouts "scam"
What I don't understand is why people are bidding for them. I certainly wouldn't.
If true....how nasty and ungrateful but the wrapping looks suspect. Too similar.
^^^
I agree, some look re-wrapped
not necessarily.....one woman came home to find her presents and that her bf had dumped her! if she then wants nowt more to do with him, why shouldn't she sell the gifts? and....people wouldn't bid on them if they didn't want them.....x
Ok OK it is ungrateful and in bad taste, but is it worse than unwrapping a completely inappropriate present and saying with a big smile " Oh! thank you, how lovely, just what i wanted?"
and how can the wrapping look suspect? mine looked the same when i wrapped them....and i did my son's for him as he is useless at wrapping stuff.
I don't buy presents for people I don't know well enough to know what they like.
I think Naomi is right, my MIL unwrapped her present before telling us[my wife and me] to take it back to the shop because she didn't want it.
Sqad....when we meet up for the pint of Guinness and you present me with a beautifully wrapped gift I will at least open it before putting it on ebay. x
gness....LOL

\\\it before putting it on ebay. x\\

I thought that you were going to say..."before putting it on".......;-)
"Putting it on".....Ahhhh in that case Sqad. ;-) x
