seen the advert last night and is advertised as "water resistant"
does this mean if i fall in a swimming pool it'll still work???

as imo this is what water resistant means.

Assuming you've got your Motorola with you when you fall in the pool, I think you would want a 'waterproof' one! Water resistant isn't quite there ;)

The definition of being water resistant means it go upto a certain depth inwater. On watches they usually say water resistant upto 50m. What could you take this phone to as that is my point about "water resistant". Can't just say it's water resistant in rain as most phones are anyway.

upto 1 metre fully submerged in water.
