Carlton run a file search for iTunes Music. That is the name where all your music files were held

Hi again Milvus, I am still getting a window stating (`iTunes cannot run because some of it`s required files are missing, please reinstall iTunes again`). and when, after about ten minutes of watching it reinstall, the same window pops up again. I can find most of my recordings in `My Music` but I want to get back all of them. I should have done a CD to be safe, but never got around to doing it. Hoping you or someone out there can help me further, as I`m not very up to it myself. TIA
There should be file called itunes music. Can you find that when you search?

Ummmmm, all I can find is ITunes installer which I ran again and again but still get the same window. Where, and how do I find the file you mention ? Is it the `file` in the top L/H corner of the screen, if so iTunes ain`t thur. Excuse my higgorance.
The iTunes programme and installer have little to do with your stored library which in the the folder called iTunes Music. What you should try next is to delete the iTunes application and the iTunes installer. Then download a fresh version from Apple. Reinstall this and that should give you all the missing files. I don't use windows very much and don't have access to a windows PC, so hopefully one of the other folks can lead you through this bit. When you have a new iTunes application loaded then you have to link it to your old iTunes Music folder. Come back when you have loaded the new programme and we'll lead you through this bit
If you click on 'start' and in the search box just above type in 'itunes' even before I've finished typing I have a list of folders. There should be a folder called 'itunes library' your songs should be in there.

I have done a search and found 3733 files of songs but it hasn`t brought back iTunes, so I`ll try uninstalling iTunes application and iTunes installer and try again with an Apple install........ I`ll be back, as the big man said.
Good luck with this.

By the way, did you finally give up on trying to get an avatar?
