Want to recover it back to what?

So you use windows to access it again, or so you can run linux from it again?

Before you can create the partition for windows you need to delete the linux one, just right click on it and select delete.

sorry i forgot to say this...i dont hav linux...after installing xp i dont know where linux is.....now d partition looks lik its empty
So delete it and then recreate another, new, partition in the empty space.
Question Author
ya...i got it back....
I thought this would work for me but mine must be a different thing, I had to format my C drive and lost MY Docs and My Pics, can i get those back?
Nope, this was to get a d drive back, not a C drive (and even then it just would have recreated an empty D drive, not recovered the information that was there before)

glad it's OK now Henkle
??
Opps, sorry, glad it's ok now cloudy :)
