I uploaded a video to YouTube - it's uploaded but is 'Queued' - any idea how long it takes before the URL shows, ta?

Not sure there's any set time, probably dependent on how busy the site is - some (up to 100MB size) that I've uploaded have been available to play within an hour or two even though the thumbnail picture is not displayed for a day or two (which must mean that it's not been fully processed and so probably has not been indexed to be available to other people until then) whereas others seem to have been uploaded but are still unplayable after a couple of days, at which point I've deleted what's there and uploaded it again.

I use Adobe Premiere elements to create my videos but there are other video editors that are free to download which might do what you want but don't know enough about them to recommend any in particular.
