How to change letter formation on laptop

I have been trying to change the letter formation on my laptop the letter I am trying to change is the letter a as you can see from this enquiry how it's written I am trying to type it as it is showen in kids books or how children write the letter a. I am using Vista. Any help greatly appreciated.

Do you mean that you want to change the font? In which program do you want to do this?

as jumbuck says the only way to change the way a letter looks is to use a different font, how to do this depends on what you are changing the font on (word document, windows in general......)

Any how, from a quick look the best bet as a font for what you want is Comic Sans MS.

I am using vista but I don't know what you mean? Not sure how children write it.

I think they want to change the letter "a", as this is not how most people write it. Children are taught "up, down and around (with a little tail)" or whatever, not with the loop on the top.

For writing a document, click on the font box and the list opens and you can look down the list and see which one has the "a" you require.
