I would like your opinion on this PC please.I am thinking of buying this as a gaming PC and want one that will last a while...I don't want to have to upgrade for at least 2 years after purchasing a new one.
TIA

Why not wait till October and get one with Windows 7 on it.

That makes it more "future proof" than one with Vista on it.

It will probably be around then that I buy it VHG :)
I was just looking at all the other features really.I think Mesh do have a free upgrade to Windows 7 anyway which would be ideal.
Do you think this model is worth the price?
that's a decent spec computer and I've always liked mesh, they do make decent stuff, it is almost identical specs to one I purchased for work earlier in the week which I got for 595 (ex vat) so in my opinion the pricing is about right on it too.

As VHG says though, at this time I would either wait for windows7 or at least double check that you do get a free upgrade to it from mesh before buying it. Keep in mind that if you go for the free upgrade route you may well have to wipe the system totally and install everything again.
I've had a mesh for quite a while - nice bit of kit
note though - no monitor .... the 22" illyama is basic - but the picture is excellent

and
and don't forget to untick the 60 worth of "handy extras" they just assume you'll want -

Complete 12 Month BullGuard Internet Security License (3 User Edition) +20.00
6-Socket Surge Protection +19.80
Logitech Cordless Keyboard & Cordless Optical Mouse +20.00

Thanks for the advice guys :)

I'm quite familiar with the 'extras' that tech/PC sites try to add on at the checkout stage AC,i've been caught out with that once before and I learned my lesson the hard way!
I am just after the base unit,I already have a decent monitor, keyboard and mouse.
