Spellcheck

Although my Acer 5920 Laptop is set for English (UK), the spell check is English (American). Can this be changed?

Which spell check? The one in your word processing software, or your browser?

Have you checked the language in Mail itself?

In Mail, click
Tools - options - Spelling

Now click Settings at the top
Tick 'always check spelling before sending'

Is English selected under 'language' at the bottom? If not, change it to English.

Save and close

Oh! Ignore that - I have just found you can't change it to UK English.

That can't be right, surely?

I've just sent an email and the spell-check threw out the word 'cheque'.
Queer folk these Americans.
