Any suggestions as to how I get rid of this annoying pop-up? It is a remnant of a Roxio uninstalled program and it pops up after boot-up and then on numerous occasions after that. I can't even find out where it lives! Many thanks.

IE or Windows Update not Working

Any easy way?

My first suggestion would be Start>Run and enter msconfig. Look in "Startup" for the Sonic entry and de-select it. You will need to reboot and tick the "do not tell me" box after reboot. This won't remove the program, but (if it's in Startup) may stop your problem.

Otherwise it's a registry edit, and it may take a while to narrow down which entry to delete. (Though CCleaner might find it and get rid of it for you).
