blue screen

my pc has crashed, when you start it up it has a black screen telling you that there has been a threat and windows has closed to protect your pc, it then goes to a blue screen telling you its in safe mode, thats it !!! you cant move away from this page then ... can anyone help me please

Some people have more than one pc - and there are internet cafes, neighbours, even the local library - or a smartphone.

Have you got the recovery cd, pomsta?

ETHEL...... l don`t even know what a recovery cd is, so l doubt that l have one, help!!!!!!!!

When you bought the laptop did you get any cds with it - hopefully with Windows on it?

When you switch on, do you get the 'last best configuration' (or similar) option?

what were you doing before it went pear shaped?
did you install something ... or visit a slightly shady website.
or just switch off? (or of course ... none of the above)

the actual EXACT error would be useful ... sometimes it's a threat ... but sometimes the message actually says to stop the problem doing damage .... it's different.

try switching on ... then bash the f8 key like a bee's wing until you get the safe mode option again.

take the default ... will it start?
