dvd back-ups

hello, i've erased a version of nero and now when i back back up copies of them using dvd-shrink, it tells me that they are saved to my hard drive and not letting me insert a blank disc to burn to, what have i erased by mistake and can i download a version,

dvd shrink itself is not a burn prog,but if you had nero on your pc b4 you installed shrink it would have recognised nero so then it would have automatically started nero in burn mode artef it had finished any shrinking hope this makes sense.
