Why do I spend 3 weeks every month being level headed and able to cope with anything and yet 1 week a blithering wreck? Today, i cried at a program about the twin towers, cried at a program about reality shows when I saw that the old lady, who had challenged Simon, was given a makeover and appeared on the live show and have just cried when I saw the girl from Same Difference upset on X Factor............pathetic and very embarrassing. At least today I was at home. Sometimes, I'm at work with people who don't really know me! It's really getting me down now. Generally, I'm happy and I've no idea when I'm going to be like this....:o(

Apart from pmt & your hormones playing up, it's probably 'cos you're a nice person with feelings scooby! ;o}
Cos you're a woman my love.
are you my twin lol , you sound like me theres no shame feeling like that ,just look out for some people that will take advantage of you , i would rather look to people i know and let them judge rather than strangers x
i walked into a tree n cried when i had pmt, didnt even hurt but got me well upset!
aww sophie< wouldnt take it that far < more to middling LOL
scooby - your question made me cry!!!!!!!!

I cried at Secret Millionaire without PMT no hope for me. Got even worse after I had kids!!
Gets way better after the menopause -not being flippant -but it does.(BTW -I had an early one -have to keep saying that -what am i like) -you'll get there hun -anyway a good greet doesnt harm anyone.

So be rest assured its not you -its your bleeding body.
cant say i have changed < think i have always been sensative< but through saying that i have nice people around me < have met a lot of nasty one but on the whole picked out the nice ones
Well thank God I'm not alone ...
I never seem to stop crying, i even cry at work, and i'm hard faced at work with the customers. Is there a way of reducing this feeling??

hi scooby. Only women who get PMT can understand how bad it can be. My mum never suffered with it, and when I used to tell her about my moods/tears etc, she never saw what I was on about.

Have you tried Starflower, rather than Primrose oil. It could help you. Also agree with Drisgirl, about getting better after menopause.

btw Drisgirl, when you said early menopause, how early was it?

I am going through it and I am 46. And thought that was early

its all in the mind LOL never heard of my granny, old aunt or mother complain :) must be to do with the genes LOL
O I started at 38 and sorry to say I had a horrendous 9 yrs -I went cold turkey cos I wanted a natural conclusion not an atrificial induced one.The month I stopped eventually I knew instincively (sp?) - got my confidence back again -I am way more tolerant (I was a bitch and I know it) and just balanced right out.

Unfortunately I have recently had a kick in the teeth-so am tearful -but that would have sent me over the edge last year-and I mean hospital - but I am just about coping with it.

I promise you get there -take it from someone who was a cynic when i was told the same thing -and also remeber no 2 people are the same -some sail through and cant see what the problem is -grrrrrr
Drisgirl, sounds a bit like me then. Did you go on HRT? I always thought I would avoid taking it. But as soon as Dr suggested it, I took it... just like that. But it has made me much more balanced. And before that, I thought I was going a bit mad.

But maybe thats just me! lol
