Opening windows

Every window i open is minimised for some reason, never used to, any ideas folks how to fix this please?

Right Click on the problem folder icon.
Select "Properties"
Click on the "Shortcut" Tab
Look at the line marked Run
it should say "Normal Window" or "Maximized"
Yours will likely say "Minimized"
Change it here, bob's yer uncle!
