For The First Time In Ages
I sat and played my piano this afternoon. My goodness, I am rusty, but I still enjoyed it. I've just been too busy or tired to even spend 15 minutes on there.
Have you done anything recently that you have not done for ages?

I reckon it was because she didn't want to upset my Dad who had a bit of a inferiority complex and wasn't musical himself. I don't know. I'm no trick cyclist. He was a nasty bully though .
RH I can't stay in bed much beyond 7.30, my two tinkers are VERY good at finding new and interesting methods of getting me out of bed. This morning was "Let's chuck EVERYTHING off her dressing table". Yesterday was "Let's shred her favourite curtains".
Nicebloke, Classic FM is my "go to" station and has been for years! So possibly I am old.
Retro - I am sorry you are tinkling more than you would like. But thankfully you are still tinkling. Same for you Chris!
Naomi - I suddenly thought you might be my mother (apart from the fact that you are clearly not old enough). She paints beautifully and is an amazing musician. And then I remembered you hate cooking (she loves cooking and is very good at it). She'll turn up here on Christmas day and knock out Chopin's Fantasie Impromtu, a bit of Beethoven and then probably Bohemian Rhapsody. And then I shall plink plonk something really badly.
ASBO was an absolute so and so, but he didn't wreck the house like this pair. Yesterday one of them shredded a whole loo roll in the downstairs loo because I left the door open for the floor to dry after I had washed it. Bits of loo roll stuck to a wet floor are a nightmare to get off. But that was clearly to distract me from the Great Feather Pillow Massacre of 2023. Feathers. Everywhere.
