Fingernails grow 4 times faster than toenails but hair grows fast than both. Although, i'd hazard a guess that if you were bald, your nails would come out tops :-))

Fingernails grow about four times faster than toenails and adult nails will grow about one-tenth of an inch a month according to How Stuff Works. And as you may have guessed by now, hair grows much faster than fingernails and toenails with about ¼ to ½ in a month or 6 in a year.

Fro memory hair grows at the rate of about a centimetre every 3-4 weeks. Theres no way my nails grow that fast. Cutting toenails is a real pain- mine need extra strong clippers. Wish a could stop them growing

its a nuisance that the hairdresser is shut, as my hair grows so quick, it did have a shape at one time but not anymore.

My toenails always seem to grow faster, so I'm surprised fingernails are quicker. Maybe it's because I forget to trim them when I get out of the shower.

'er indoors fancies herself as a bit of a hairdresser, so every time my mane threatens to become a mullet she hacks it back.

Hair doesn't seem to have a consistent rate of growth - speaking as someone with a very sparse head growth but a fine bushy beard - and wouldn't it be awkward if pubic hair matched that rate ;-)

Cut finger nails, cut toe nails, plucked six chin hairs.
Job done for another few weeks.
