I liked Croatia and the people- but I saw no evidence that anyone played football there - saw no stadiums, pitches, footballs.

I know they have an excellent national team, Mamyalynne, and passionate support at the world cup, but i saw no-one playing it, saw nowhere flat enough for pitches in villages and saw no stadiums. Usually in Europe you see lots of locals playing and stadiums to visit. Maybe Dubrovnik and the islands were not typical
