I'm not going to let you leave here until you 'copy & paste' something.

Good move Svejk. We should all get jourdain posting. When I noticed that she said 'I cant post links' I must admit to thinking, well lets get weaving then. I have seen your earlier try at getting Jourdain to copy and paste. So we can all help now. Svejk if you like I can move your instructions over to this thread or you can do it.

I'm useless at 'computer stuff' togo. So if I can do it, anyone can.
Anyone is free to 'chip in'. But our pupil appears to be mooching.
//I'm useless on computers, jourdain, and couldn't 'do' links. Then someone on here showed me in plain language and it was simple. (it would have to be)
If you look at the top of this page there will be a box with this in it:
http://m.theanswerbank.co.uk/News/Question1460217-2.html
Possibly in white on a black background. Put the arrow on the box and 'left click'. It will turn blue.
Then 'right click' and a box will appear with a few choices including Copy. (point the arrow at copy & left click)
That's now 'stored' until you want to paste it somewhere.
When you want to paste it on AB, click on answer, put the arrow in the 'answer box' and 'right click' again. This time when the box appears it will have 'paste' in the options. (point the arrow and left click and what you copied will appear in the answer box)
^written down, it sounds much more complicated than it is. //

Jourdain this was the post that svejk sent you on the other thread. Other folk will join in if you respond. Some of them will be better at talking you through it than svejk or myself.
OK, I've arrived, apologies for being late for class - been emergency babysitting and it meant a stopover and then tiniest sprog woke up with a temperature this morning and I only got home late this afternoon. It is now lateish, but I will hold you to your wish, svejk, although we may have to continue this over a couple of days. :) Here I am....
.......agog!
Jordain using your mouse left click and hold down. Move the pointer along any of the script you want to send. It is now highlighted in blue. Right click with your mouse. You will get a op down menu. Select copy. Right it is now saved. Scroll up to the type your answer box in ab. and right click. Select paste. send what you first selected.
get a drop down menu.

Took me ages to learn how to C&P. I always have Basheba to thank for teaching me. I was a poor pupil and she was a very patient teacher.
If you look up at the bar on the top of your screen you will see.
http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Technology/Computers/Question1460677.html

If you left click and hold as you run your cursor over that script it should turn blue. When it goes blue right click and a drop down box appears with "Copy" on it.Left click on Copy and then drag your cursor up to the answer box. Just tap out Practise as a heading.

drop down to next line and right click. Drop down box should appear with "paste"
Left click on paste and the script should appear copied on the answerbox. (I hope).
It is difficult to explain (for me) unless I do the routine naturally without thinking. Perhaps there are better tutors on AB than I. Bon Chance . xx
I'm going to write all this down on a bit of paper , togo, OK.
Ditto, retrocop.
