Unable To Upload Photographs From Sd Card

I am running W7 on an HP Pavilion g6. For some reason it refuses to upload my photographs and videos from an SD card. It was working fine when I last uploaded about a week ago. I'd be grateful for any ideas on how I might rectify the problem. Many thanks

I hope it isn't a corrupted card. Have you tried it in other slots, other PCs, tried to isolate where the issue lies ?

Are you using a built-in card reader or a plug-in one?
