Ok - I know this is like drawing teeth but thanks for your patience -

I have cleared the receiving stick, but i can't get the files i am transferring to pick up more than one at a time.

CTRL usually works, but not this time - any ideas?

Are you holding down Ctrl down all the time whilst selecting the files and are they all 'highlighted'?
Another way is to put all the files into a folder and and transfer the folder entire.
shift click adds files to the list one at a time
Meant to say keep all related questions to the one thread, makes it easier to understand ☺☺☺
Select the window that you want to copy from -> press Ctrl A -> press Ctrl C -> select the window that you want to copy to -> press Ctrl V.
andy-hughes...You are making issues difficult for me to follow by your starting new threads on the same matter.

Having made my suggestion in your first posting, I shall now wait to see how you get-on with the further advice given by other ABers.

Apologies for the multiple posts - they have occured because i have implemented the solution offered in my first post, only to encounter another problem, hence the second, and another again - hence the third.

Again my appreciation for the patience of those who have responded.
not a problem Andy...are you sorted now?
control+a (on the stick you are transferring from) should highlight everything.

Then either drag and drop across to the second stick, or control+c to copy them then control+v to place the copies on the second stick.
I am pleased to see that ABers are confirming the advice which I gave in part 1 of this 'programme'. :-)
