Thanks for your previous answers - I am Ok with two USB ports to plug in and drag and drop.

Only problem is, I need to clear the receiving stick, and i can't find an option to delete the files that are on it - any ideas?

Go to My Computer, select the stick that you ant to rase, right click on it and select Format drive.
make sure that you have the correct one !

You need to make sure that the USB is unlocked (tiny switch on the USB) then highlight the files and chose file-delete if you don't want the files or file-cut or file-move and them paste or them or choose the location you want the files moved to.
