What make of laptop do you have?

Does the battery look similar to the current dead one?

SORRY BUT I CANT SEE VERY WELL
Oh, OK.

Just a suggestion then.

Hold down the Ctrl button (bottom left on my keyboard)

While it is depressed roll the scroll wheel on the top of your mouse and you will see you can adjust the words on your screen bigger or smaller.
0.3 volts is not gonna make any significant difference.
theyre usually flat on receipt and rarely reach full capacity. Remember to detach power during charging to release static.
detach and re-attach.....get it ?

Hey Hopkirk I didn't know that !! thanks can see a lot better now.
Prendi, the charging circuit voltage in the laptop is probably more important than the nominal battery voltage. Don't worry
