Bbc Iplayer On Ps3

After recently installing the latest version of iPlayer on my PS3, I find it impossible to exit after watching something. Other games (and functions) can be closed by pressing the PS3 button, but in iPlayer I just get the 'no entry' icon in the top right of the screen. So far I've found the only way of exiting is to actually switch the PS3 off!
Can someone tell me what the correct button press is?

If you hold the PS3 button down you will get the option to quit the iplayer.
