using w7 gogle browser
i used to be able to save websites to my mointor
using the spanner+
to put them on my desktop
the desktop icon is missing
now i cannot put them on my desktop
.any idea how i can get it back thanks

Not sure why you'd want to, surely bookmarks are easier.

But just shrink the browser window down so it's not full screen any more, and just drag the little icon on the far left of the address bar onto the desktop.
