I have an iPhone 4. Does anyone know if there is a way that I can spell-check my texts ? Perhaps with an app ?

Thanks nomercy ! Needed the explanation as I was brought up to read and write English and find all this text-speak a tad confusing !
I'm not a huge fan of text speak but posting from this phone is so long winded that using common abbreviations does tend to simplify things and minimise the time it takes to type out a reply.
Sorry but he says he just uses predictive text. I hope someone else can help you.
I have an iphone 3G and when I uploaded the most recent software (via itunes when I linked my phone up to my laptop) it started spellchecking - comes up with a dotted red line underneath words it isn't sure of and if you click on it it gives you options to change it to.

I had to back my phone before the upgrade and once done my photos and music had disappeared. I'm hoping they are backed up on my laptop somewhere else I've lost them.

Back up can take a while (few hours for me) if you have a lot of photos, aps etc... so make sure you have enough time and won't need to use your phone in the meantime.
I use predictive text too if that makes a difference.
Spell checking is already provided on iPhone 4. Go to Settings/General/Keyboard and make sure that Check Spelling is set to On
