"SAVE AS" saving to desktop my mistake

My PC HAS SUDDENLY started saving items to the desktop.wheras it normally save to "PICTURES or documents" where i want it, i normally just save as" and the pc does the rest. does anyone know whats happening?

When you click on save as it gives you the option as to where to save it, just change it back to desktop.

Save it .. to Documents/ .... as required .. (browse to folder required) and it should stay that way.
If it just saves without a prompt .. it is maybe Firefox you use? Go into Tools/Options/General and change the setting for Downloads there.
