Since updating WMP to version 11, I ind that when putting a cd into the drive and auto playing it (also when launching tunes from my c drive etc), the music starts but the player does not appear on the screen. It opens onto the open files taskbar at the bottom of the screen but will neither restore or open from there.
The music plays but there is no way to edit playlists, skip tracks etc
I also use Winamp and can do all that, but would like to return WMP back to its former state.
Even if this is to revert back to version 10.
Can anyone tell me how to do either.
thanks

I suggest that you uninstall it first.
then go to microsoft updates page and
reinstall WMP version 11.
You don't say what your OS is?
are you using Windows XP or 7 for
instance.
