Please help this is question that was not actually answered due to lack of information, please help given the following information.
I am unable to open Windows Media Player on my laptop an Acer Aspire 9300 series with Windows Vista Home Premium Installed.
The following message(s) appears when trying to open the Player:
The file wmploc.dll has a version of 11.0.6000.6344 where 11.0.6000.6336 was expected. Windows Media Player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled. Do you want to install the Player from the Microsoft Website? Yes or No

Click yes and you are asked to download Windows Media Player 11 for XP no mention of Vista. Click on the download button and after a short while of trying to install the Player the following message appears:

There is a more recent version of Windows Media Player (11.0.6000.6344) already installed on your computer. It is not possible to use an older installation (11.0.5721.5146) to install files or repair your current version of the Player.

What do I do next?

You`d better try another blu-ray media player and it can satisfy your needs without much worries. iReal mac blu-ray player is such a great one and I have tried it for a long time.
