ripping cds to media player

just tried ripping some cds to media player windows 7 premium and its been translated in to japanese ! i have no idea how this has happened the cds are playing ok but all the song titles etc are in japanese. can anyone help me with this

I had the same scenario when i ripped Madonnas new album, but I've got Vista, never had the problem before - I think its just the CD.
I just had to edit/rename all 36 tracks - fun.
Nothing to do with the CD normally.

The online database the album details are taken from is kept updated by users, just like you, who have entered the track details manually and then uploaded them to the database, if the user who added that particular album made a spelling mistake, or even if they filled in the details in Japanese for some reason then anyone who pulls the details from the database at a later date will get the information with the original spellings/errors/languages.

You can either delete the whole album and try again, it might be OK on the second try, or you're going to have to edit the information manually and enter the details yourself.
