Hi, probably something quiet simple (again!) but every now and then whenever I left click into a box to start typing, a circle appears with 4 arrows inside and I`m unable to type and I have to keep clicking about ten times until the circle disappears to be able to type.

Any suggestions please?

Have you checked the mouse program settings to see if Auto Scroll is set as L Or R click for some documents/web?
If so, change it.

Thanks mate
Did you find the fix?
Are you pressing the wheel on your mouse?
I think Squarebear is right. To cancel, click down on the scroll wheel again.

Hi all, no it`s not the wheel being pressed down although it`s the same size circle.

The problem occurs when signing in somewhere, eg ebay, username and password boxes, I left click to start typing and the circle appears
Check the mouse settings again. Is special mouse software installed? Like Logitech Mouseware, SetPoint or MS Intellipoint software?
Look at Accessibility Options under Control Panel for anything selected.

AlBags, no special software installed, also another thing that has started to occur with my screen is the quick tabs next to the favourites option, why has that started all of a sudden?
