Is there a number lock on a laptop keyboard? If so, can't find it.

yep BOO, top of the right set of numbers, not the one you use to type, it looks like NumLk then a / then an asterix * on the top line of mine

I cheated, by using the character map, far simpler ;-)

secsee- go to start>all programmes>Accessories>system tools>character map.
