Correct TCL I knew Ken Walton was born in Cairo,where you born there Dan?Still it does not answer my question.Any other ideas folks.Thanks anyway to both of you.

Erm is the answere not Kent Walton? Although born in Cairo he was British but had a Canadian twang due to the fact he spent a lot of time wi Canadian airmen during the war. He used to broadcast on Radio Luxembourg so no doubt his transatlantic accent either helped or it was emphasised.

There are no true Canadian tv wrestling commentators that spring to mind (not in this country but no doubt there are, or were, a fair few in Canada)
