They are all ridiculous, of course ...

But what do your team's supporters chant ?

eg.

At Brighton ... if any player is fouled ...

"You dirty Northern B***ards
You dirty Northern B***ards
You dirty Northern B***ards
You dirty Northern B***ards"

Which, being on the South coast, can be sung to anybody. Even, say, Millwall.

It does have a certain J'ne sais quoi.
"If You Know Your History" is a popular Everton tune, but I did use to like "Fcuk off McMahon" that was a catchy number.

This little ditty is a favourite at the real Albion :-)
Quite appropiate today!

The "real" Albion ?

LOL

That's ... West Bromwich "Going Down" Albion.

=0)

We have one for former top division clubs (like Leeds) ...

"You're not big club anymore
You're not big club anymore
You're not big club anymore
Etc ... "

(before anyone says it ... I know that Brighton look like going down as well).
:-P
How about these little ditties from the crushing of Peterborough in the Cup last season :-)
"Oh when the stripes" followed by the famous " Boing Boing!"
You can't beat a chorus of Combine Harvester by The Wurzels from the Yeovil fans (what else would you expect from The Glovers?). We have a variation of the "You dirty Northern B***ards" which goes

"You're B***ards. B***ards. Dirty, Northern (Being a Northerner myself I am insulted by this but I still sing it) B***ards. You go back home and beat the wife. Dirty, Northern B***ards"

We have another one based on a song by The Wurzels which goes

"Drink up thy Cider, drink up thy Cider, for tonight we'll merry be (merry be). We're on our way to Dover, to $h@g her in the clover, there's still more Cider in the jar"

For your information, your claim about If You Know The History as "a popular Everton tune" is something they "borrowed" from Celtic . The words are actually contained in The Celtic Song which is played every home game as the teams take to the pitch.

I'd have thought that having an ex Celtic player as manager, Everton fans would have known this fact?
I've heard it played at Celtic, to be honest I don't care we sing it and I like it.
It's ours now! LOL
